New Solar Farm at Honington Shipston Warwickshire

It looks like a planning application for a solar panel farm in Honington is now in the pipeline.

Honington Energy Limited have put in a request to Stratford-on-Avon District Council planning services for pre-application advise for a proposed solar farm and EIA screening opinion under regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment)

The site is situated alongside Fell Mill Lane to the East of Shipston and just south of the Village of Honington in South Warwickshire.

It measures approximately 27 hectares in a rural location surrounded by agricultural land.

The solar panel farm will consist of over 32,00 fixed tilt PV panels mounted on frames up to 3.3m high with a generating capacity of 25MW
