Is McDonalds Coming to Shipston on Stour

There appears to be rumours going round that Shipston is to get a McDonalds – Does anyone know if this is true or not?

I wouldn’t have thought the town was big enough to support a McDonalds but with so much building going on who knows?

If Shipston does get a McDonalds is the most likely location where Pettiphers Garage was?

I know there is A1 planning consent for Tesco Stores Limited does anyone know if it has A3, A4 or A5 consent to?

I can’t imagine the Chip shop, Chinese takeaway or Indian restaurants will be to chuffed let alone the café and other food outlets.

Can’t see it happening myself but you never know.
