Sheep Snatchers in Warwickshire NFU warn farmers to secure livestock

If the COVID lockdown spreads to the cities and bigger towns in the Warwickshire area how long will it be before we start hearing stories about people coming out from the towns and stealing livestock?

I hope the local farmers are tightening their security as I hate to think what will happen if we have a lockdown over Christmas New Year and then going in to the lambing season.

Will sheep snatchers and lamb snatchers be a big problem?

Pig farmers, dairy farmers and poultry farmers will all have to a keep closer eye on their livestock if people become desperate start poaching and then progress to livestock snatching.

Has the NFU issued any warning to farmers about securing livestock and preparing for sheep snatchers, rustlers, poachers, etc?

Will The NFU warn farmers to secure livestock during Coronavirus crisis

When families are hungry those little lambs gambolling about in the open countryside might start to look quite tempting.
